Edwin Class is a well regarded New York artist who lives in The Bronx. He is best known for his message board at the ground zero memorial fence "It's out of love I come every day for three months a year. It makes me feel better and it makes people feel better" (2006). He loves his city and this is the motivation for his work. I bought a piece from him a year ago and I love it as much today as I did the day I bought it. In a recent trip to back I had to find him, and after spending half a day with him I just had to bring his work home. He impresses me as much as his work does. We will continue to grow the range of designs available so please make sure you pass on your feedback as we broaden the range of designs available.

I love NY - 2013 - Limited Edition
Artist: Edwin Class EQNYC New York
About the piece:
I met artist Edwin Class in NYC 2013. Falling in love with his work I commissioned a few pieces for myself and asked him to create 8 of his graffiti I <3 NY transport posters to bring home for sale.
Being a graffiti artist he spray paints his I <3 NY design into being. He has used a MTA map of New York's subways, railroads and buses as his canvas. His shading technique gives a great relief affect lifting the writing and heart from the body of the map. Each in this series is individually signed and dated by the artist, and packaged in a FedEx zip lock envelop.
Dimensions of folded map: 9.5 x 19.5 cm
Dimensions of map in FedEx post pack: 14.5 x 22cm
Size of artwork: 58 x 82 cm / 58 x 73 cm (without legend included)
About the artist (in his own words):
"I grew up in the 80s. Painted a bunch of trains with a bunch of NYC Graffiti Legends. Find me in "BURNERS" & "Train Days: The Subway Artists Then and Now" book & the Style Wars Dvd: Destroy All Lines; Documented by Henry Chalfant. Besides that history, I'm the founder of MADHATN-live custom art from da streets of soho to Times Square, NYC. I worked with a crew of Artists 2003 to present BOM5, EQNYC, GENE and others and we customised mesh caps to everything else. Also, I was arrested for painting on a hat without a license. This resulted in a precedent setting lawsuit for 1st amendment rights. KEVIN SANTOS AKA: NAK NAC143 VS THE CITY OF NY.
